Our Vision is for PROJECT:TALK become a nationally recognised, economically sustainable and highly effective solution for organisations who wish to support mental fitness, including the mental health and wellbeing, of their community.
From schools, to University students, from businesses to the general public, we seek to harness the power of individuals to draw communities together to revitalise mental health, inspire change and better support each other.
Mental Fitness is about togetherness. Only then can we thrive.
We center our work around four central principals. A community must be inspired, empowered and supported to nurture each one of these in order to truly reap the benefits of mental fitness:
Individuals must be aware of their own minds and of the thoughts, feelings and emotions of those around them. This requires education, knowledge and understanding alongside open communication and a lack of stigma.

WALK TO:TALK Project Manager
I started PROJECT:TALK to help highlight a new way to engage with and revitalise mental fitness; this affects each and everyone of us and so embracing it can help us feel empowered, boost productivity, relationships and have a positive outlook on life.
TOOLS TO:TALK Medical Curriculum Manager
I believe in the amazing power of conversation, and how it can be used to change the way we view mental health, and to care for ourselves and each other. We should all be able to feel safe and comfortable being ourselves, talking about struggles, and receiving help. I’m in this to help get those conversations going.
I am so passionate about inclusion. I believe seizing opportunity comes easier to some than others; no matter who you are, I feel everyone should experience possibility equally. Mental fitness holds a huge amount of responsibility in our achievements, and PROJECT:TALK is the perfect platform to engage with this.
Operations & Strategy Manager
As a society, we are finally starting to open up and talk about our mental health and I wanted to be involved in driving the conversation forward. PROJECT:TALK is the perfect organisation for this as it encourages a proactive approach to mental fitness to support communities and establish meaningful conversation.
WANT TO:TALK Lead Bristol
Mental health and well-being support is a central part of university and working life, and something I am passionate about facilitating. Being part of PROJECT:TALK allows me to play an active role in supporting student well-being and promoting meaningful conversation about mental health, and its provisions, in Bristol
Communications & Social Media Assistant
PROJECT:TALK gave me a platform to express what I am passionate about - mental health and mental fitness. As prioritising mental health and mental fitness is often overlooked and still considered taboo in some cultures, I'm grateful to be part of PROJECT:TALK where I'm able to spread awareness and encourage conversation through social media.
PROJECT:TALK is a rewarding platform to be part of since it encourages people to engage with their mental fitness. The importance of conversation has never been so important, so I hope the work we are doing can enable people to look out for themselves and support each other
The Stag Editor
PROJECT:TALK promotes and inspires positive conversation around mental health and fitness; a conversation that we should all be part of. Being passionate about helping others and removing the stigma surrounding mental health struggles, I could think of no better organisation to be a part of.
