We recognise the important links between physical fitness and mental fitness, with a particular focus on the benefits of the outdoors, exercise and the comradery of sport.
We wish to utilise the value of exercise many discovered during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We also see that, amongst many athletes of all levels, there is an apparent lack of importance placed on the benefits of mental fitness on physical performance, and a report of stigma surrounding mental health, still evident in these communities.
This campaign is designed to promote and explore these links and benefits, de-stigmatise mental health through the comparison to physical fitness, particularly amongst the sporting community, and drive an interest in mental fitness.
